BIO
Hi! I'm Lorena Martinez, originally from Monterrey Mexico. I’m an actor, a writer, speaker and coach living in Los Angeles.
I have a BFA in Theater from NYU, where I specialized in Theater Education. And I hold an MFA in Acting from UCSD, where I taught Acting and Public Speaking to college students.
My acting credits for TV and Film include: The Good Doctor, Hotel Pennsylvania, and various shorts with Funny or Die. And for Theater: Clean, Vanya Sonya Masha and Spike and The Yoga Play at Tony-winning South Coast Repertory. Up Here at La Jolla Playhouse, Crista McAuliffe’s Eyes Were Blue at Center Theater Group, among others. I recently signed a deal for a show I wrote with Traziende Films, a TV series about a Mexican actor that has one year to get famous or she gets deported.
The power of a reliable creative practice changed my life. Now my mission is to help people find that power in themselves. I’ve helped Hollywood celebrities and artists take the lid off their creative potential, and I want to do the same for you.
